Terms of Service

These terms apply when you engage me for research and writing support. Please read them before you pay a deposit. By paying a deposit, you agree to them. Data science and consulting work is agreed separately for each project.

1. Who I am

I'm Ibraheem Obanla, a data scientist and research analyst. You can reach me at info@ibraheemobanla.com.

2. The services

I provide research and writing support: referencing and citation (Harvard, APA, Chicago, MLA, OSCOLA, IEEE, Vancouver, MHRA and other styles), editing and proofreading, dissertation and thesis planning, literature review guidance, and statistics and data analysis support. The exact scope of each piece of work is set out in your quote.

3. Quotes

I give a quote based on the length of the work, the deadline and the kind of help you need. A quote covers the scope and deadline it was given for. If either changes, the price may change, and I will confirm any new price with you before continuing.

4. Payment

• Deposit: between 50% and 70% of the quoted price, paid before work starts. The exact amount is stated in your quote.
• Balance: the remaining amount is due within 48 hours of the work being completed to your satisfaction.
• Method: bank transfer only. I accept GBP, EUR, USD and NGN.
• Proof of payment: please send a receipt or transfer confirmation for each payment. Work starts once the deposit is confirmed.

5. Revisions

I offer revisions until you are satisfied with the work, within the scope agreed in your quote. New requirements or extra material beyond that scope may be quoted separately.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If you change your mind after paying, you can cancel and receive a refund of what you have paid, as long as you ask within these windows:

• Deadline two weeks or more away: within 24 hours of the project starting.
• Deadline less than two weeks away: within 6 hours of the project starting.

A project starts when I confirm receipt of your deposit. Requests made after these windows are not eligible for a refund. Refunds are paid by bank transfer, in the currency you paid in.

7. Your responsibilities

• Give me accurate information about your course, requirements, referencing style and deadline.
• Send the materials I need in good time. Delays in receiving them may move the delivery date.
• You are responsible for making sure that your use of my services complies with the rules and policies of your university or institution.

8. Deadlines

I agree a delivery date with you and work to meet it. If something outside my control causes a delay, I will tell you as soon as possible.

9. Confidentiality

I keep your documents, details and our conversations confidential. I don't share them with anyone except where needed to provide the service or where the law requires it. Your documents remain yours. See my Privacy Policy for how I handle personal information.

10. Results and liability

I can't guarantee any particular grade, mark or outcome, because these depend on factors outside my control. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any piece of work is limited to the amount you paid for it.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your work is the one on this page when you paid your deposit.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
